I am often asked how I choose products for Silly Dilly's at The Enchanted Spot. Well, I am a doodler,  a logophile, a dreamer, a do-gooder lawyer on hiatus, a mom, a baker/gardner/pet lover...so if one my life experiences meshes with a maker's product, I am a fan.
I was hook, line and sinker smitten with Laurie Dolhan's Hook, Line & Tinker's modern, beginner friendly embroidery kits based on her own original illustrations! 
She creates these adorable kits in her indie studio in beautiful Ketch Harbour, Nova Scotia.  I wish that I had one of her kits when  I was 11 years old  riding the ferry to the Bay of Fundy on our family expedition to Nova Scotia from Connecticut.  It may have helped distract me from the waves in my stomach!
Laurie launched Hook, Line & Tinker in 2017 and donates 5% of her profits to help women and children experiencing homelessness.
